Meet the Band

Serenity Now! officially came together in 2022, but our story starts way before that. We're five born-and-raised Southsiders from Chicago who’ve been rocking out individually for years. Some of us with roots in School of Rock, all of us with deep love for loud amps, killer hooks, and the golden era of '90s music. Basically, we’re music nerds who bonded over the bands we grew up on and never quite stopped listening to.

We started this band because we wanted to bring that killer 90s energy back. We're inspired by this decade of music that just hits you in the gut, but also just lifts you up at the same time. Think big choruses, hard rockin' grooves, singalongs, good vibes, and a little bit of chaos. Serenity Now! is our love letter to the music that raised us, and a high-five to anyone who still believes in the power of Tubthumping.

 Our mission is to channel the raw energy of awesome '90s music to help inspire, uplift, and get those songs stuck in your head again ... but in the best way possible. From one hit wonders, songs that make you dance, hooks that make you freak out, or just that one  tune you remember from prom, our goal is to make every note count. We surely want to bring back some core memories for our fans, and make sure every show feels like a shared moment of nostalgia and fun.
